Dinner time. I believe to be the most hated time of day for moms…am I right?! As the years have gone by and my kids have gotten older, I’ve come up with a weekly meal plan that works for my family. I’m always so interested in what other families do when it comes to meal planning, so I thought I’d start a weekly series called “Weekly Meal Planning”. I will share what we are having for dinner each week. I would love for you to join in and share what you are having too!
We aren’t perfect. Some nights we have side options, other nights might be a frozen pizza. I do believe that taking the time to sit down at the dinner table with your kids and talk about their days will make an impact on them and your relationships with them.
Meal Plan for October 21st-25th
Monday: Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes, Bagged Salad, and Strawberries
Tuesday: Chili Dogs, Chips, and Apple Slices
Wednesday: BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Mac and Cheese, and Fruit
Thursday: Italian Chicken, Rice, Green Beans
Friday: Left overs/Frozen Meal/ Pizza?
Weekends are always up in the air for us. I usually try to make a nice meal on Sundays and shop for that on Saturday. I also have chicken nuggets on hand (haha) for an easy weekend meal.
